Temporary Cooling Tower System While Existing Tower Receives Maintenance

Temporary 2,000-ton cooling tower system.

Solution.

Carrier Rental Systems (CRS) created a portable cooling tower system by utilizing a gravity feed system.

Application.

CRS installed a standby system of 2000 tons in case of a failure with the customer's existing tower system.

The towers supplied by CRS had to be installed at an elevation higher than the existing cooling tower system to facilitate a gravity feed from the temporary tower to the permanent tower system.

CRS used steel pipe with victaulic fittings to put the system together. Below are sample pictures of the project:
