University needed temporary cooling after existing units failed.
Carrier Rental Systems designed a portable system using temporary water cooled chillers that provided the required cooling capacity.
Carrier Rental Systems supplied 2500 tons of water cooled chillers to the university, using five 500 ton units. The university was crippled when two of their 1200 ton existing units went down. Thousands of students were sent home for a week while the university tried to fix the existing system. Carrier Rental Systems brought units in and got the university back up and running so that they could resume school. If the temporary chillers had not been there the university would have considered shutting down parts of the school for the remainder of the semester.
